It is with great enthusiasm that we announce the numerous awards received in the last fes months by Studio 88-SWING dance teachers in various international competitions:
- We could not hold silent on the fact that the 2007 American Swing Dance Champions 2007 live, and teach dance, right here in Montreal as part of the Studio 88-SWING team. They are also the coaches of the Swinging Air Force Dance Team, Max Pitruzzella & Annie Trudeau. They are 2007 gold medal winners in Boston (Beantown) http://www.beantowncamp.com/, New-York (ALHC) http://artspectrum.org/alhc.htm Minneapolis (ULHS) http://www.rhythmpursuits.com/ulhs/ and Montreal (CSC) http://canadianswingchampionships.com They also led their troupe to the podium of the American Swing Dance Championship Team Division (ALHC 2007)
- Patricia Brodeur has won 1st place of the 2007 Canadian Balboa Championship Jack & Jill which took place in Quebec City http://www.balcamp.com/
- Patrick Szmidt won 1st place at the Balboa Jack & Jill in Cape Cod http://www.dancingfeats.com/sne/
- Olivier Didur and his partner Claudia Joyal won 3rd place of the Advanced Super Stars Jack and Jill in Cape Cod http://www.dancingfeats.com/sne/
- Natasha Ouimet won 3rd place of the West-Coast Swing Jack & Jill in Cape Cod http://www.dancingfeats.com/sne/
It is with great pleasure that we announce that Didier Jean-Francois, a.k.a. Charmin’ Dee, will be part of a fabulous New Year’s event near Boston Massachusetts: NEW YEAR'S Dancin'EVE. Dee will be DJ-ing, MC-ing and teaching dance with his Studio 88-SWING partner and Canadian Balboa Champ Patricia Brodeur. Join them to bring in the New Year in style with competitions, classes, parties, DJ battles and the spectacular New Year Diner Show and a whole lot more.
