2011 Dates
Swing l'été is now one of the most revered swing event
in Quebec, attracting more than 400 enthusiasts!!!
Swing l'été is a free of charge venue promoting swing dancing. Many dance schools from Montreal, including Cat's Corner, Studio 88-SWING / Swinging Air Force, Sylvain Tchang, Swing ConneXion and Lindy Land Swing participate and offer introduction course, intermediate course and a swing show. There are also many guest DJs and a LOT of dancers.
Swing l'été is the perfect opportunity to let your family and friends discover how fun swing dancing is (and finally answer their question: What is swing dancing?)

A little extra on Saturday, June 18
- On the weekend of June 17 - 19, the swing and balboa dance school SwingConneXion will be hosting the Montreal Balboa Revue.
For this occasion, one of the competitions, the Balboa Jack n' Jill, will take place at Swing l'été.

By Bicycle - From the Old Port of Montréal
- In the Old Port of Montréal, find the bike path direction West (direction Lachine Canal)
- After the "Bridge/Pont des Seigneurs", you'll find yourself South of the Lachine Canal
- When you are at the "Passerelle Atwater", take the bike path that is perpendicular to the canal
- Follow this bike path to the "St-Laurent river"
- Swing l'été is only a few kilometers away

Warning: please note that due to major construction, the Turcot Interchange, one of the main roads to get to the venue, is partially closed this summer.
To avoid traffic jams, we recommend the use of public transportation if possible; otherwise, to plan ahead an alternative route, for GPS provide inaccurate directions.
- Highway 15, heading North or South
- Exit #62 "De l'église, de la Vérendrye"
- Turn left on Woodland
- Continue until Woodland ends, then
- Turn right on Lasalle Boulevard
- Continue on Lasalle, for approximately 1 kilometer
- Just passed the "Natatorium", in front of the Douglas Hospital, turn left: the site is there!
- Verdun Greenhouses, 7000 LaSalle Blvd, Verdun, Montréal.
- Free parking available on the site.
